Microsoft Copilot Health Connects Medical Records and Wearables

Microsoft Copilot Health is a new AI-powered feature designed to help people better understand their medical records, lab results, and data from wearable devices. By bringing health information into one secure place, Microsoft Copilot Health aims to make personal health data easier to read and manage for everyday users.

Microsoft has introduced Microsoft Copilot Health, a new feature designed to help people better understand their personal health information. The tool creates a secure space inside Copilot where users can ask questions about medical records, review lab results, and explore data collected from wearable devices.

The company says Microsoft Copilot Health is built to simplify health information that many people often find difficult to understand. Instead of trying to interpret complex medical reports alone, users can rely on the AI health assistant to explain lab results and provide helpful insights based on their health data.

Microsoft Copilot Health is not meant to replace doctors or offer medical diagnoses. According to the company, the tool works as a support system that helps users make sense of their health information before speaking with healthcare professionals.

One of the key features of Microsoft Copilot Health is its ability to connect with medical records from a wide range of healthcare providers. Through the HealthEx network, users can securely import medical records from more than 50,000 hospitals and healthcare organizations across the United States. This allows the AI healthcare assistant to analyze the data and provide clearer explanations.

The platform also supports importing lab test results through a service called Function. Once the data is connected, Microsoft Copilot Health can help users interpret their lab reports in simple language, making it easier to understand what the results might mean.

Another important part of Microsoft Copilot Health is its integration with wearable health devices. The system can connect with more than 50 wearable products, including devices made by Apple, Oura, and Fitbit. By linking wearable devices, the AI health assistant can review data such as daily step counts and other activity information.

The homepage of Microsoft Copilot Health displays key health insights gathered from connected devices and records. Users may also receive reminders about upcoming doctor appointments, depending on the data they choose to share with the system.

Privacy and security remain a major focus for Microsoft Copilot Health. Microsoft describes the feature as a secure environment where users control what information they share and how it is used. The company says the goal is to provide useful health insights while keeping personal medical data protected.

Microsoft Copilot Health will not be available to all users immediately. The company plans to release the feature gradually through a phased rollout. People who want early access can join a waitlist while Microsoft continues expanding availability.

With the launch of Microsoft Copilot Health, Microsoft is taking another step toward integrating artificial intelligence into everyday healthcare tools. By combining AI, medical records, and wearable data, the company aims to make health information easier to understand and more accessible for everyone.
